Program Details: The Peer Support Program for LGBTQ Black youth newcomers (16-29) offers a safe space to address hate, homophobia, and exclusion, with weekly online sessions. Online participants must register in advance for accessibility and organization. • February 6: Anti-black racism & hate definition and history • February 20: Anti-black racism and hate in accessing medical care • February 27: Anti-black racism and hate in the education system • March 6: Anti-black racism and hate in navigating the financial system • March 13: Anti-black racism and hate in the job market/workplace • March 20: Anti-black racism and hate in sports • March 27: Anti-black racism and hate in intellectual property and recognition • April 3: Anti-black racism and hate in policing, the criminal justice system and access to justice • April 10: Anti-black racism and hate in social benefits and housing systems • April 17: Anti-black racism and hate in navigating the child welfare system for black LGBTQIA newcomer youth
